Rock Jumping

Travel to the northeast Czech Republic to the remote Adrspach- Teplice Rocks, for some rock jumping. This area consists of 11 square miles of sandstone formations that have risen out of the ground. The concept of rock jumping is similar to when kids naturally hop from stone to stone, however there are differences. For one, the landing surface does not feature a flat, easy landing. Typically jumping from rock to rock requires the jumper to hang on to the crevices of the landing wall, similar to a monkey. This activity is of course safe; every jumper has the protection of a thin rope tied around his or her midsection. Thanks to the safety precautions taken, severe injuries have been prevented. The only injuries that are common are a few broken ribs or mere damages to the spines, nothing too big.
